Highlights include Dallas Stars Ice Girls studio sessions and NASCAR at TMS (ZZ Top images included).

Well i went to see what I consider one of the best guitarists on the planet. Didn’t have my gear with me, but managed to get a couple of shots with a point and shoot. It’s really too bad as I had one of the best seats in the house. Of course, I paid to watch the show and not “work”….so it was probably better that way. It was a great show, but he didn’t play 3 of his biggest hits (and my favs)…”Zap”, “Trademark” and “Cliffs of Dover” were all missing from the set, yet he played several Hendrix and BB King tunes.. Still a very good show. The opening act, Jack Andrews was enjoyable as well…

Well if the rain holds out tonight, KJ and I expect to be out there shooting some of the event. Most notably, I am looking forward to once again seeing our new friends in the band, “Gin Blossoms”. They’ll be performing tonight from 8-9 and it’s a free concert. So please make it out if you can. I’ll post images later from the event.

EDIT: Well it didn’t rain, but I think the threat kept way too many people away. I still had a good time, but felt somewhat bad for the participants due to the poor attendance. There was a pretty cool Corvette wipe out when we first got there. LOL

KJ and I had a GREAT time at the Gin Blossoms concert Friday night.  Super nice guys.  Enjoyed hanging out with them in their tour bus after the show.  Can’t wait to get a golf game together next time you’re in town Jesse!
